Miami, 1991. When his bloodthirsty urges can no longer be ignored, young Dexter Morgan must learn to deal with his inner darkness as he goes from college student to vengeful serial killer under the guidance of his father, Harry. Christian Slater was older than James Remar when Dexter (2006) first aired. This was followed by Dexter: Resurrection (2025). Thank you for this series, and most importantly, it’s almost impossible to have a bad finale this time around. It’s exactly what I personally needed, and I think most Dexter fans need, after the devastating finale of New Blood. I can’t wait for the next installment, the atmosphere of the original series is so heavy, the cast as a whole seems perfectly cast, the lead actor with Hall’s voice in the background is almost like he’s acting again. The music and songs are lovely, the storyline is also very nice for a pilot episode, everything seems to be going in the right direction, but I’m so afraid to be happy because that’s exactly how we all felt with the new blood.
