In the eternal city of Macondo, seven generations of the Buendia family struggled with love, oblivion and the inevitability of their past and their destiny. This is the most expensive Netflix project created in Latin America to date, in which Colombian groups and indigenous communities created props and scenery for the series. I read this novel in 2018. After finishing it, I looked for any movie or series based on this novel, and I didn’t find anything, which surprised me. Marquez created a whole world with great skill, great characters and events that will be remembered forever. As for the series, what a series! Often, when a film or TV series is adapted from a novel, the novel turns out to be much better, except for a few works. And this series definitely managed to adapt the novel correctly and bring this great world to the small screen. For those who are hesitant to watch this series, believe me, there is nothing more important than watching a series to pass the time.
