Director Andrew Ahn becomes a happy comedy for a selected family that navigates cultural identity, querness and family expectations. I have become frustrated with the commitment phobic boyfriend, Chris and the end of the era, mini making a proposal: Green card marriage with his friend Angela in exchange for his partner Lee’s expensive IVF. However, turning plans are common when the mini mother surprises them with an extra Korean wedding party. Starring Bowen Yang, Lily Gladstone, Kelly Marie Tran, Han Gi-chan, Joan Chen and You Yuh-Jung, the wedding party is a burning and cordial reminder that some of the family is both to accept and forgive.
