Directed by Paul W.S. Anderson and based on the novella by George R.R. Martin, the film centers on a queen who, desperate to realize her love, takes a bold step: she sends the powerful and feared witch Grey Alice (Mila Jovovich) to the wild, haunted Lost Lands in search of magical power, where she and her guide, the wandering Boyce (Dave Bautista), must escape, as well as a demon.
