O filme estava originalmente programado para ser lançado em 16 de agosto de 2024. No entanto, após o fracasso comercial de Horizon: An American Saga – Capítulo 1 (2024), a New Line Cinema adiou a data de lançamento original da sequência e adiou indefinidamente. O Capítulo 2 estreou em 7 de setembro de 2024 no 81º Festival Internacional de Cinema de Veneza, com uma data de lançamento incerta nos cinemas. Ele é seguido por Horizon: An American Saga – Capítulo 1 (2024). Eu adorei do primeiro ao último momento. Não acredito nas críticas e classificações ruins. Sou um grande fã de faroeste e este filme é de qualidade do início ao fim. Lembre-se, é parte de uma história mais longa; a Parte 1 é sobre apresentar os personagens principais. As três horas voaram e agora estou morrendo de vontade de ver o episódio 2 o mais rápido possível.
